We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources within our organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role requires an experienced, detail-oriented individual who can drive strategic initiatives, ensure compliance with labor regulations, and foster a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration.
Responsibilities:• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Lead and manage employee relations initiatives to promote a supportive and inclusive workplace.
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws and HR compliance standards across the organization.
• Manage the administration of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and fairness.
• Advise leadership on workforce planning and talent management strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate HR metrics to drive improvements and inform decision-making.
• Provide guidance and support to managers regarding employee performance and development.
• Lead efforts to enhance employee engagement and retention.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR functions.• At least 15 years of experience in human resources leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with workforce planning and talent management.
• Proficiency in analyzing HR metrics and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
