Aerospace Jig & Fixture Builder

We are a premier machining, weld fabrication, and tooling shop offering in-house design, engineering, build, and certification. Our tooling spans assembly tools, lay-up tools, large and small checking tools, mill fixtures, and more. Customers include Boeing, Bell Helicopter, GE Aviation, and Honda Aircraft Company.

A day in this role

You begin by studying build prints and customer specifications, planning the build to exacting requirements. You calculate any missing dimensions, lay out designs across various materials, and establish reference points and tooling holes using straightedges and precision measuring instruments. Throughout the day, you partner with a skilled team to fit and assemble tooling components for aerospace programs, step in to repair or rework tools when needed, and capture quick sketches for the fabrication department. When required, you’ll operate manual machines such as lathes, Bridgeports, and grinders. You’ll also pitch in on other related tasks as assigned to keep projects moving.

What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience as a fixture builder within the Aerospace industry
• Solid understanding of geometric tolerances and GD&T principles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Strong math skills plus clear verbal and written communication
• Excellent organization and follow-through; deadline-driven mindset
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards (preferred)
• Experience with CATIA V5 and ENOVIA (a plus)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
