About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Long Term Care (LTC) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) Experience: 2+ years of RN LTC experience required License: Michigan RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: BLS certification from American Heart Association Michigan RN License Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience Description: Under direct supervision or direction of the department manager, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader. Performs duties assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established methods and procedures. Strives for superior performance by consistently providing a service that contributes to the patient and family experience. Recognizes and demonstrates understanding of patient and family-centered care. Adheres to a strict attendance policy. Absences from scheduled shifts or tardiness beyond 20 minutes on three occasions will result in immediate termination. Absences due to communicable diseases or hospitalization will be reviewed with supporting evidence.
