GD&T-Focused Fixture Build Technician, Aerospace

Your mission

1. Translate customer requirements and prints into accurate jig and fixture builds
2. Lay out designs across varied materials; determine unspecified dimensions
3. Establish reference points and tooling holes using straightedges and precision measurement
4. Lead technicians assembling aerospace tooling; ensure quality at every checkpoint
5. Repair/rework tools to restore performance
6. Produce quick sketches for the fabrication team and operate manual machines as needed (lathes, Bridgeport mills, grinders)
7. Support additional assignments as they arise

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years of experience building fixtures in aerospace
• Deep knowledge of GD&T and the ability to read complex blueprints
• Strong math, clear written and verbal communication
• Excellent organization and follow-up discipline
• Comfort working to deadlines and understanding downstream impacts
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards preferred
• CATIA V5 and ENOVIA familiarity is advantageous
• High school diploma or equivalent
