Job Description

We are seeking a temporary painter to join our second shift paint team for approximately 4-6 weeks. The role is essential to assist in catching up on work and involves paint preparation, cleaning weldments off steel using hand tools, and using a sprayer to paint steel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with paint preparation and sanding.
• Clean weldments off steel using hand tools.
• Use a sprayer to paint steel efficiently and effectively.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Experience with sanding.
• Proficiency in using a paint sprayer.
• Knowledge of industrial painting techniques.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in paint prep and industrial painting.
• Familiarity with spray gun painting and paint booth operations.

Work Environment

This position operates on a second shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 3 PM to 2:30 AM. The work involves using hand tools and a sprayer in an industrial setting, with tasks primarily focused on painting steel components.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
