We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our medical practice full time or part time in Ypsilanti Twp, MI. We are looking for a driven person to assist with medical care, as well as help promote/sell our in-office therapies and treatments. Do you understand people and love helping others? Our practice is dedicated to identifying opioid-free pain relief options and tailoring treatment plans to each patient. We employ the latest forms of integrative medicine techniques, to free patients from debilitating pain, encourage healing and mobility, and help regain an active lifestyle. We have a dynamic, well-educated team of medical professionals including a physician, advance practice provider and amazing support staff.

Duties:
-Assist with patient care
-Connection with patients to understand their expected goals and desired outcomes
-Assist with initial consultation on new patients to determine medical history, motivating factor that prompted patient to look for help with their problem and functional goals of the patient
-Attend Team Meeting to report on motivating factor that prompted patient to look for help with their problem and functional goals of the patient
-Provide and ensure completion of all patient paperwork
-Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan
-Ensure that all the patient's needs are met, nothing gets overlooked, and care is consistent with the patient's expressed desires
-Execute patient follow up calls
-Encourage, resolve concerns, and gather testimonials during care plan
-Advocate for the patient and motivate them to reach their health goals
-Assist in patient coordination and patient care plans
-Assist the patients/staff with office flow
-Collaborate with the office staff for comprehensive patient care
-Ensure efficient written and oral communication (phones, email)
-Maintain an organized office

Schedule:
-Part time or Full time
Compensation:
-$17/hr plus bonus compensation
