Systems Monitoring Engineer

Job Description

An Cloud Services company based in West Michigan is in need of a skilled Systems Monitoring Engineer. This individual will be joining the monitoring team to support scripting, API's, Databases, and more. The ideal candidate will be based in West MI but there is a possibility of selecting a remote candidate if they are skilled enough. This is a first shift M-F role with some on call support needed.

Compensation Range: $45/hr to $55/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience working on a monitoring team in a cloud based environment

• Strong ability to support all systems from a monitoring perspective

• Strong understanding of API's, Database monitoring, and scripting

• Highly reliable reputation and willingness to dive into highly technical scenarios to support both internal and external customers - Higher education degree or certifications in this field
