Industrial Electrician

The Electrician applies technical expertise to support production and facility operations, including wheat and flour facilities, offices, and warehouses. Responsibilities include installing, modifying, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and calibrating electrical, electronic, and instrumentation equipment. The role requires knowledge of power and control wiring, PLCs, operator interfaces, and complex control systems, and supports both production and facility needs.

salary: $75,000 - $77,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 11 PM - 7 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Associates degree or vocational school four-year program in electrical or other appropriate technical discipline is preferred. High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical/controls in a manufacturing environment.
• Knows National Electrical Code, NFPA 70, And OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices.
• Experience with programming PLC systems. (Experience with Allen Bradley networks desirable.)
• Experience with single and 480VAC three phase electrical distribution systems and motor controls.
• Experience with industrial wiring; solid state industrial equipment; blueprint and schematic reading; lockout/tagout.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• standing for 3 hours at one time
