Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs.
• Oversee the procurement of raw materials and components, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Develop and implement materials management strategies aligned with production schedules and business objectives.
• Collaborate with production planning, sales, and engineering teams for accurate demand forecasting and material requirement planning.
• Negotiate with suppliers, manage vendor relationships, and evaluate supplier performance.
• Monitor material flow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards for material handling and storage.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in ERP/MRP systems for inventory control, demand planning, and procurement.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, forecasting, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing teams and driving process improvements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced planning systems (APS) or specialized Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain optimization.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Demonstrated experience in international logistics and global sourcing.
