Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical machinery and facility infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and automation systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for installation and repair.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical codes (e.g., NEC), safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies.
• Execute wiring, conduit installation, and electrical upgrades for new and existing equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify and mitigate potential issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent apprenticeship completion.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems, including motor controls, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Thorough understanding and adherence to electrical safety codes (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA).
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs for electrical equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced PLC programming and diagnostics experience (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell).
• Experience with robotics electrical systems and controls.
• NFPA 70E Arc Flash Qualified Person certification.
• Proficiency with HMI/SCADA system configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., thermal imaging, vibration analysis for electrical components).
