A manufacturing company in Jackson is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. This position will start as a part-time role, working 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and will transition to full?time in January 2027.

Administrative Assistant Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 to $22.00 / hour
• Part Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

• Greet visitors, manage front desk duties, and handle incoming calls and emails.
• Perform general clerical tasks including copying, scanning, filing, and data entry.
• Monitor and order office supplies to ensure the workplace remains stocked.
• Assist with recruitment activities: posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting background checks, and coordinating interviews.
• Support onboarding by preparing new-hire materials and coordinating with IT for system access.
• Maintain accurate employee personnel files and assist with payroll, attendance tracking, and basic benefits inquiries.
• Conduct HR file audits to ensure compliance with labor laws.

Administrative Assistant Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of administrative office experience; HR experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and professional discretion.
• High school diploma or GED required.
