Job description:
We are seeking a versatile and dependable Accounting & HR Specialist to support our Accounting and Human Resources operations.
If you enjoy variety, take pride in quality work, and thrive in a team-focused environment, this role is for you. This position plays a key role in helping us maintain efficient flow across departments during a time of growth and process improvement.
Manage Accounts Payable receipts and disbursements.
Assists the shipping & receiving department with necessary supporting shipping documentation.
Communicates within departments in regards to RMAs, wire transfer payments, customs documents, or any financial or administrative item that may affect other departments. Coordinates the HRIS, utilizing it to help process required documentation.
Assists with planning and coordinating company events. Helps coordinate the employment, application, and interviewing process. Assists in establishing credit terms with current and prospective customers. Sends customer statements, contacts clients regarding outstanding accounts. Manage Accounts Receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment receipts including credit card transactions.
Attends meetings, as required, with other employees to keep informed on those matters that will affect the successful performance of his/her job and of the status of the company as a whole.
Full-time 8 hour shift Monday to Friday.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a mid-size company with bookkeeping or accounting experience. Experience in recruiting, hiring, and employee training. Comfortable working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Dependable, team-oriented, and solutions-focused.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in processing and maintaining accounting records in Sage ERP 100 or other comparable software in a manufacturing business environment. Experience using BambooHR or similar HRIS.
