Job Coach

We are currently seeking job coach candidates to actively monitor, coach, and assist our clients with disabilities on employer worksites.

Job Coaching is excellent background for undergraduate or graduate students that anticipate careers in fields such as psychology, neuropsychology, special education, nursing, and counseling, with professional references potentially available from credentialed professionals.

The hours for job coaching positions vary based on the client's work schedule. We have an immediate need for a woman to assist a female client in an office setting in Troy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This position requires the job coach to learn the client's employment duties and remain updated on any changes to policy and procedure. This is a permanent position, and we are seeking candidates who can commit to remaining with the client long term. The job coach should possess strong communication and organizational skills, be willing and able to provide the client guidance on proper work procedures, and the ability to multi-task with strong administrative skills

Applicants should have completed college coursework, have reliable, insured transportation, and be dependable. Experience working in a helping profession is highly preferred. Intermediate computer and data entry skills are required, specifically with Microsoft Office products. The job coach is required to keep detailed, professional notes which are submitted daily. Ability to accurately adhere to methodical, multistep data-entry of proprietary software. Detailed notetaking and problem-solving ability. Must possess a personal computer with email. Knowledge of JAWS software a plus

Opportunities may be available for additional hours working with other clients as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 15 per week
