Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

• This 1st shift Quality Technician role focuses on ensuring high-quality production in a clean, safety-driven environment
• You will perform precision measurements, verify weld quality, and confirm that all parts meet strict quality standards before they move further in the process

Job Responsibilities

• Follow all established safety requirements and procedures at all times while on the production floor and in the cleanroom
• Use digital calipers and micrometers to perform precise measurements on parts and verify that they meet specified tolerances
• Inspect parts thoroughly to ensure they are 100% defect free before allowing them to continue to the next step in the process
• Conduct visual quality inspections of welds coming off the robot line, identifying and reporting any defects or irregularities
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the cleanroom area, supporting both quality and safety standards
• Document quality checks and inspection results accurately as required by internal procedures
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to address quality concerns and support continuous improvement efforts
• Adhere to all facility rules, including restrictions on personal devices on the production floor

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading and using digital micrometers and digital calipers for precision measurements
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects in parts and welds
• Ability to follow detailed safety and quality procedures consistently
• Comfort working in a cleanroom environment with strict cleanliness and safety requirements
• Basic understanding of weld quality and visual inspection techniques

This is a Permanent position based out of Troy, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
