Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscape crew members, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to quality standards
• Lead landscaping projects including planting, lawn care, pruning, mulching, and garden bed maintenance
• Oversee landscape construction activities such as installing hardscapes, irrigation systems, and other outdoor structures
• Manage tree care operations including pruning, removal, and health assessments in accordance with safety protocols
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance inspections to identify areas needing attention or improvement
• Train team members on proper equipment use, safety procedures, and horticultural techniques
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment usage, and safety compliance

Skills

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture
• Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments
• Strong knowledge of tree care practices, irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and general landscape maintenance
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and operating landscaping equipment safely
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively
• Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor projects and hardscape installation
• Attention to detail in project execution while managing multiple priorities efficiently
