Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing department activities and personnel.
• Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet output targets and deadlines.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing team members.
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct basic troubleshooting, and coordinate maintenance.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Optimize finishing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and waste minimization.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing finishing department.
• In-depth knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, coating, assembly, final inspection).
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to achieve targets.
• Strong understanding and application of quality control standards and inspection techniques for finished goods.
• Proven problem-solving skills to optimize processes, reduce defects, and improve efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Proficiency with ERP or MES systems for production tracking and data analysis.
• Experience with advanced finishing techniques (e.g., robotic application, specialized coatings).
• Certification in hazardous materials handling or advanced industrial safety practices.
