Project Coordinator
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to manage end-to-end electric service delivery for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in the utility industry. Based out of our Norton Shores service center, this role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, bridging the gap between initial project scope and final field construction. The successful candidate will ensure all projects seamlessly meet both customer expectations and strict company compliance standards. To qualify, candidates must possess a relevant technical Associate degree, 60 credits toward a technical Bachelor's, or at least 5 years of utility experience. Applicants need a valid driver's license for on-site client visits (30% travel) and must live within 60 miles of Norton Shores. strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, alongside exceptional multitasking and problem-solving abilities, is strictly required. location: Norton Shores, Michigan

- Act as the primary representative for Consumers Energy, managing communication across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, including scoping, design, billing, permitting, scheduling, and final field construction.
- Evaluate electric distribution system requirements to accurately define customer project scopes and identify necessary regulatory permits.
- Generate and assign cross-departmental tasks and prerequisites to keep project milestones strictly on schedule.
- Conduct on-site customer visits (30% travel) and collaborate directly with field crews to fulfill commitments.
