Shift: 1st and 2nd available
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect furniture components and finished products for defects, damage, and adherence to company specifications.
- Perform dimensional checks, visual inspections, and functional tests using hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
- Document inspection results and communicate non-conformances to production supervisors and quality leads.
- Work closely with production teams to identify root causes of defects and assist in corrective actions.
- Approve or reject materials and finished products based on quality standards.
- Maintain accurate quality records, inspection forms, and documentation required for audits.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product consistency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in furniture, wood products, or manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects quickly and accurately.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
