Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all aspects of the finishing department's daily operations.
• Manage, train, and evaluate finishing personnel to ensure productivity and skill development.
• Ensure all finished products meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Monitor production schedules and workflow to achieve on-time delivery targets.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, process deviations, and equipment malfunctions.
• Optimize finishing processes for efficiency, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing finishing department.
• In-depth technical knowledge of manufacturing finishing processes, equipment, and materials.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce strict quality control procedures and standards for finished goods.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage production teams.
• Experience in optimizing production workflows, troubleshooting issues, and driving efficiency improvements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping).
• Proficiency with ERP or MES systems for production tracking and reporting.
• Certification or advanced training in specific finishing technologies (e.g., powder coating, electroplating, robotic finishing).
• Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or conducting internal audits.
• Bilingual proficiency relevant to the local workforce.
