Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fabrication operations and production schedules.
• Lead, mentor, and train a team of skilled fabricators.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and specifications.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures within the fabrication area.
• Optimize workflow and processes to maximize efficiency and output.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams on new projects and improvements.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on fabrication equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in various fabrication techniques (e.g., welding, cutting, forming, machining).
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Expert ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding and application of quality control standards and inspection processes.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adherence to safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Advanced welding certifications (e.g., CWI) or specialized fabrication techniques (e.g., robotic welding, exotic materials).
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior fabricators.
