Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of machinists, providing technical guidance and support.
• Set up, program, and operate advanced CNC and manual machining equipment for complex parts.
• Perform critical quality inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate workflow and manage production schedules to meet manufacturing deadlines.
• Train new and junior machinists on machine operation, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure operational readiness.

Recommended Qualifications

• Expert proficiency in setting up and operating a wide range of CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, including GD&T.
• Proven experience with CNC programming (G-code and CAM software) and process optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills in guiding a team of machinists.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and precision measurement techniques.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for program generation and simulation.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in designing or optimizing machining fixtures and tooling.
