Please note: This is an on-site position that requires the selected candidate to work from our Grand Rapids, MI, or Saint Petersburg, FL, office. This is not a remote role. Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Cloud Architect to join our new IT team as we build out of IT platform at Acron Aviation. This pivotal role involves managing and optimizing cloud hosting environments, with a primary focus on Azure and secondary expertise in AWS. The role will include liaising with SAP on the SAP RISE platform, and requires collaboration with various teams across the organisation to ensure seamless operations and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage multi-cloud hosting environments with an emphasis on Azure and AWS.
• Support SAP infrastructure hosted on SAP RISE, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Oversee and manage relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure service quality and adherence to SLA agreements.
• Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity team to maintain secure cloud environments and adhere to best practices.
• Coordinate and liaise with the network team to ensure robust connectivity and integration across platforms.
• Engage with the M365 end-user computing team to optimise user experiences and functionality within the cloud ecosystem.
• Utilise ServiceNow for effective change management, including tracking, reporting, and resolving change requests within cloud environments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing cloud environments with a strong focus on Azure; AWS experience also required.
• Proven ability to manage MSP relationships and ensure compliance with service expectations.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills, working effectively with cybersecurity, network, and computing teams.
• Proficient in using ServiceNow for change management processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
• Excellent written communication skills required to document the architectural designs being recommended.z
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS are a plus.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams is essential.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
• Expertise in Azure environments and technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of SAP hosting, particularly SAP RISE a bonus!
• Proficiency in ServiceNow for tracking and managing changes.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Location & Work Arrangement

This position will be based in either Grand Rapids, MI or Saint Petersburg, FL. Candidates must be willing to commute or relocate to one of these locations. Flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, may be discussed based on organisational needs.
