General Laborer – Manufacturing Production

Position Overview:
We are currently hiring dependable and motivated General Laborers for a high-volume manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment and are looking for long-term manufacturing opportunities.

General Laborers will support daily production operations by assisting assembly teams, moving materials throughout the facility, packaging products, and helping maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general production and manufacturing support duties throughout the facility
• Assist machine operators, assemblers, and production personnel as needed
• Move materials, containers, parts, and finished products throughout the plant
• Load and unload production materials and components
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment
• Inspect products and materials for quality concerns or defects
• Support assembly, sorting, labeling, stacking, and palletizing operations
• Assist with material replenishment and production line support
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety and 5S standards
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and work instructions
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals
• Perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Support warehouse and manufacturing operations as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
• Strong attendance and reliable work history required
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing physical work throughout the shift
• Team-oriented with a strong focus on workplace safety
• Automotive manufacturing or Tier 1 supplier experience is a plus
• Industrial or production environment experience preferred

Preferred Experience:

• Manufacturing or production support
• Assembly line work
• Warehouse or shipping/receiving operations
• Packaging and palletizing
• Assisting machine operators
• Automotive or industrial manufacturing environments

Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift
• 2nd Shift
• 3rd Shift

Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production schedules and customer demand.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements
• Ability to work in industrial manufacturing conditions and varying temperatures
