Are you a licensed professional looking to join a reputable, growing team? Great Lakes Landscaping is looking for a Certified Pesticide Applicator (Category 3A) to lead our turf health program for residential and commercial properties.

Since 1993, we’ve been Metro Detroit's one-stop-shop for outdoor excellence. We need a detail-oriented expert who takes pride in creating healthy, weed-free landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application: Perform professional-grade fertilizer and pesticide applications on turfgrass.
• Diagnosis: Identify weeds, turf diseases, and pests to determine the best treatment plan.
• Calibration: Expertly calibrate equipment (ride-on and walk-behind spreaders/sprayers) to ensure precise application rates.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs of chemicals used, locations treated, and weather conditions in compliance with MDARD regulations.
• Safety: Handle, mix, and store chemicals safely using proper PPE at all times.

Requirements:

• State of Michigan Certification: Must have current Commercial Applicator License with Category 3A (Additional categories like 3B or 6 are a plus!)
• Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record (Chauffeur’s license preferred).
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of Michigan turf types, common weeds, and seasonal treatment cycles.
• Reliability: Ability to work independently and maintain a professional schedule.
