Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Facilities & HVAC)

Role Overview

We’re seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to keep our building infrastructure and production assets running safely and efficiently. You’ll perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive/predictive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems to support site objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain building, facility, and machinery systems; complete general repairs to ensure efficient production.
• Install, evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment.
• Execute safety-first maintenance practices, including predictive and productive maintenance aligned with business goals.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and restore equipment to safe, optimal operating condition.
• Participate in planning and execution of facility moves/expansions and support physical relocations as needed.
• Identify work outside the role’s scope and notify the Manufacturing Manager when external experts are needed (e.g., security and fire alarm systems).
• Ensure facilities and production assets are maintained for uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance and/or related certifications preferred; apprenticeship experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing facility operations and safety procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude from hands-on experience, vocational training, or related activities.
• Proficient with hand/power tools, electric meters, material handling equipment, carpentry tools, and measuring instruments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with management, office teams, and shop personnel.
• Effective time management and organization; able to prioritize and work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CNC machinery.
• Welding experience.
• Computer proficiency.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Flexible schedule.
