Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups and changeovers for various production runs according to schedules.
• Install, adjust, and troubleshoot tooling, dies, or molds to achieve optimal performance.
• Set and verify machine parameters, speeds, and feeds to meet product specifications.
• Conduct first-off piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Diagnose and resolve setup-related issues, collaborating with maintenance or engineering as needed.
• Document setup sheets, process parameters, and any deviations for future reference.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment during setup operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (2-5 years) in machine setup, operation, and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or process-related issues efficiently.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming or troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Proficiency in CAD software for design review
• Experience with robotic systems or advanced automation
