Facilities Manager | Ludington, MI
Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance of production equipment, building infrastructure, and utility systems.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Manage facility space planning, renovations, and expansions to support manufacturing operations.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, including capital expenditure and operational expenses.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors for services such as cleaning, security, and specialized repairs.
- Implement and maintain robust emergency preparedness and business continuity plans.
- Optimize energy consumption and manage all facility utility systems (HVAC, electrical, water, compressed air).
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in facilities management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing critical building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, production support infrastructure).
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, building codes) and industrial safety protocols.
- Proven ability in project management for facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations, with effective budget management.
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for preventive maintenance and work order management.
- Experience leading and developing facilities maintenance teams and managing external contractors.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or similar sustainability accreditation.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
