Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure, ensuring high availability for manufacturing operations.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect proprietary data, production systems, and intellectual property from threats.
• Oversee the implementation and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP, and other production-critical applications.
• Provide expert technical support and problem resolution for shop floor systems, automation, and general IT issues for manufacturing staff.
• Drive IT projects focused on digital transformation, process automation, and efficiency improvements within manufacturing.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans tailored to manufacturing continuity.
• Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement of hardware, software, and services for the manufacturing facility.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, systems, and operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP, and Operational Technology (OT) integration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects, manage budgets, and oversee vendor relationships.
• Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies for both IT and OT environments.
• Ability to align IT initiatives with manufacturing goals, focusing on operational efficiency and uptime.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems (e.g., SCADA, MES, PLCs) and IT/OT convergence.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, AI/ML, or predictive analytics in a manufacturing context.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience in applying process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with specific manufacturing regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO 9001) and associated IT controls.
