Infrastructure Engineer (Google Workspace) Oakland County, Michigan (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite) $74,000 - $77,000 base salary comprehensive benefits Overview We’re partnering with a large, mission-driven organization to hire a Google Workspace Infrastructure Engineer focused on managing and optimizing enterprise collaboration and identity platforms. This role plays a critical part in supporting and modernizing a Google Workspace environment. Responsibilities Administer & optimize Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Groups, collaboration tools) Manage enterprise email systems including routing, security, and performance Support identity and access management (Entra ID, SSO, MFA, DNS) Maintain and monitor core infrastructure across cloud and hosted environments Develop automation scripts and improve system efficiency Partner cross-functionally to support platform integrations and modernization efforts Must Have: 3 years of experience with Google Workspace administration Experience with enterprise email systems Strong knowledge of identity / access management (Entra ID, SSO, MFA) Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, security, certificates) Nice to Have: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Scripting experience (PowerShell or similar) Experience in public sector or education or large-scale non-profit environments Exposure to virtualization (VMware, etc.) Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
