Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications.
• Calibrate and adjust machinery parameters for optimal performance and product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic setup-related issues and machine malfunctions.
• Conduct first-off inspections to verify product conformance after setup.
• Document setup parameters, process adjustments, and maintenance logs accurately.
• Ensure all setup procedures comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Assist in training production operators on new setups and machine operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Solid troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.
• Familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, stamping).
• Adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CNC programming or advanced machine operation.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, particularly SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die).
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience with advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs or optical comparators.
