Salary Range: $40,000 - $63,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products against specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product dimensions and characteristics.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records and reports.
• Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions as required.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues, supporting root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts.
• Support the calibration and maintenance of inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and interpreting engineering blueprints.
• Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and statistical process control (SPC) principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming and operation.
• ASQ Certification (e.g., Certified Quality Technician, Certified Quality Improvement Associate).
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
