Irrigation Specialist
ACE Outdoor Services is hiring an experienced Irrigation Specialist in Burton, MI.
This is not an irrigation-only position. The Irrigation Specialist will perform hands-on landscape work while also servicing, testing, and maintaining irrigation systems.
$18–$19/hour based on experience
Full-time with year-round opportunities
Responsibilities:
- Repair, audit, test, troubleshoot, and winterize irrigation systems
- Diagnose system issues and complete necessary repairs
- Inspect and adjust systems for proper operation and coverage
- Assist with planting and landscape installations
- Perform trimming, mulching, bed preparation, and basic brickwork
- Safely operate handheld landscape equipment
- Load, unload, and move plants, materials, and equipment
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
- Assist landscape crews whenever irrigation work is not scheduled
Requirements:
- Previous irrigation service experience required
- Proficiency in irrigation repair, auditing, testing, troubleshooting, and winterization
- Ability to perform all standard Landscape Crew Member duties
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate and follow directions
- Ability to safely lift and move 50–90 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license preferred
