Join a dedicated nephrology practice that values teamwork, patient care, and professional growth. We’re looking for a Medical Assistant who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and ready to support both clinical and front-office functions.

Location: Pontiac, MI

What you'll do:

• Welcome and prepare patients for visits (vitals, history, medications)

• Perform clinical tasks: UA’s, IM/SQ injections, specimen collection & processing

• Assist with chart preparation and obtain medical records prior to visits

• Triage patient calls and ensure timely follow-up

• Obtain prior authorizations for medications and procedures

• Support front desk operations as needed

• Keep exam rooms and lab areas clean, stocked, and ready for use

• Always maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines

What we're looking for:

• At least 1 year of prior Medical Assistant experience

• Medical Assistant certificate or degree (preferred)

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Strong communication and multitasking skills
