In our Grand Rapids, MI facility, your mission is simple: keep complex CNC equipment running flawlessly while writing programs that deliver precise, repeatable results at scale. You’ll blend hands-on maintenance with code craftsmanship to elevate quality and throughput across our machining operations.

The impact you’ll drive

• Uptime: Diagnose and resolve issues quickly; execute preventive maintenance to avoid them altogether.
• Throughput: Develop and optimize CNC programs so high-volume parts—including aluminum castings—meet spec and schedule.
• Quality: Validate dimensional results against GD&T, fine-tune tooling and setups, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Knowledge: Share what you know—train teammates on programming, setup, and maintenance best practices.
• Improvement: Partner with production to spot inefficiencies and implement durable fixes.
• Traceability: Capture maintenance work, program revisions, and machine performance in accurate records.
• Innovation: Keep pace with new CNC technologies and apply the best ideas on the floor.

What you’ll need to succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification/degree in CNC programming or maintenance preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with both CNC programming and machine maintenance.
• Exposure to aluminum castings and high-volume manufacturing preferred.
• Strong command of G-code/M-code and CNC tooling strategies.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret schematics.
• Detail-driven problem solver with solid communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working flexible hours to support production demands.
