Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and company standards.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement effective preventive measures for all EHS incidents.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs to all employees, promoting a strong safety and environmental culture.
• Manage environmental permits, waste streams, air emissions, and wastewater discharge to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and submit all required EHS reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal/state EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive EHS programs (e.g., LOTO, confined space, machine guarding).
• Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and training skills to foster a positive safety culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience implementing and managing EHS software systems (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera)
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
• Proven experience leading sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting efforts
