We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team in the Lansing Area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the leasing process for our residential properties, ensuring an exceptional experience for prospective tenants. This position requires strong administrative and sales skills, as well as a solid understanding of property management practices and Fair Housing regulations.

Duties:

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants, highlighting features and benefits.
• Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and other documentation using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
• Perform data entry tasks related to tenant information and lease agreements.
• Assist in upselling additional services or amenities to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
• Stay informed about local rental market trends and competitor offerings to effectively position properties.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from potential tenants via phone, email, or in-person visits.

• Previous experience in administrative roles or sales is preferred.
