Salary Range: $61,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct finishing personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor and enforce quality standards for all finished products, conducting regular inspections and addressing non-conformities.
• Coordinate production activities within the finishing department to meet daily output targets and delivery deadlines.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of finishing equipment, troubleshooting issues and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe working environment.
• Provide training and development for finishing operators, enhancing their skills and productivity.
• Manage inventory of finishing materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finishing processes, such as assembly, coating, painting, or final inspection.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a production environment.
• Strong understanding and application of quality control standards for finished goods.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and optimize workflow to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and continuous improvement principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specialized surface treatment or finishing processes (e.g., powder coating, anodizing, electroplating).
• Demonstrated experience in applying Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Formal training or certification in Root Cause Analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
