Inventory Control Manager | Paw Paw, MI

Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records and system integrity.
• Develop and implement robust inventory control procedures and policies.
• Oversee and execute cycle counting programs and lead physical inventory counts.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and minimize obsolescence.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and warehousing teams to ensure material availability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management processes and efficiency.
• Lead, train, and develop inventory control personnel to achieve departmental goals.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in inventory control or supply chain management within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and reporting.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, optimization, and cycle counting.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze inventory data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Experience leading and developing inventory teams, promoting best practices and process adherence.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with advanced warehouse automation technologies.
• Project management experience related to WMS implementation or upgrades.
