Installer / Integrator – Office Equipment Deployment & Basic IT Setup
Location: Portage, MI | Territory: Southwest Michigan
Full-Time | Entry-Level | Hands-On Role with Growth Opportunity

We are looking for a dependable, service-oriented individual to join our team in a hybrid role supporting both our IT and printer service departments. As an Installer/Integrator, you’ll play a key role in preparing, delivering, installing, and performing basic setup on Kyocera printers, copiers, and related office technology at customer sites across Southwest Michigan.

This position is ideal for someone looking to enter the world of IT or office technology through a hands-on, physically active role that also allows for exposure to the technical and client-facing aspects of managed services and hardware deployment.

Position Overview
You’ll be responsible for executing scheduled deliveries and installations of printers and multifunction devices. This includes machine prep, staging, loading/unloading equipment, delivering units to client locations, and completing installation/setup with customer satisfaction in mind. You’ll work closely with our IT and service technicians and escalate technical tasks as needed, making this an excellent role for someone with initiative and an interest in learning on the job.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prep and stage printers, copiers, and related office equipment for delivery
• Load and unload machines into box trucks (with or without loading docks)
• Deliver and install machines at customer sites throughout the region
• Connect devices to network infrastructure under guidance or documentation
• Perform basic configuration and test functions (print, scan, copy)
• Provide a helpful, professional experience to clients during install visits
• Maintain cleanliness, care, and order of equipment during transit and setup
• Communicate clearly with internal teams regarding scheduling, escalations, and follow-ups
• Support service technicians and IT staff on project-related tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical support environment
• Friendly, professional customer service approach
• Ability to lift and maneuver large equipment using appropriate tools and methods
• Basic familiarity with Windows computers and general technology use
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Experience with box trucks or equipment delivery is a plus but not required
