Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in Detroit, MI, during the uping school year. This contract position offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing tailored educational services that meet the diverse needs of students requiring specialized instruction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students' unique learning requirements
• Collaborating with general education teachers, counselors, and families to enhance student progress
• Utilizing adaptive teaching strategies and assistive technology to support learning
• Monitoring student performance and maintaining accurate records of progress and behavior
• Ensuring pliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Certification or licensure in Special Education for K-12 students
• Experience working with diverse learners across different grade levels within the special education framework
• Strong munication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and educational teams
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and differentiated instructional methods
