Position Purpose & Job Duties:

Each employee at Blossom will be a part of a collaborative team that values each member. As a Behavior Technician, you will be trained and perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Teach and promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills in a fun, play-based setting to children with Autism to increase motivation and positive performance.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to increase the child's communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
• Relay the child’s progress to the BCBA to keep them informed and to participate in assessments as needed.
• At the end of each session, accurately record the child’s progress in IRIS Insights using your assigned tablet.
• Align with all strict ABA and insurance provider regulations as directed.
• Help the child with lunch, bathroom breaks, diaper changes, and toilet training.
• Keep the workplace safe, organized, and clean.
• Advocate for your child by asking questions and voicing issues and concerns to your supervisors asappropriate.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Follow all policies and procedures of Blossom Children’s Center, including those governing attendance, propernote-taking, and performance.
• Other duties as directed and assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Consistent availability from Monday through Friday: Full-time employees must have open availability between 7:45 am and 6:30 pm.
• Part-time shifts are available to those with consistent Monday through Friday morning or afternoon availability, either 7:45 am- 1:15 pm or 12:45 pm - 6:15 pm.
• Mustbe at least 18 years old.
• Ability tofrequentlybend, lift to 20 lbs., squat, sit, stand, and/or run.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must have, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.

FT Availability must be M-F 7:45 am to 6:15 PM

PT Availability must be M-F either 7:45 am - 1:15 pm or 12:45 pm to 6:15 PM
