Entry-Level Commercial Electrical Apprentice
Oakland • Macomb • Lapeer • Wayne Counties E.L. Electrical Contracting is a 27+ year established commercial electrical contractor serving Southeast Michigan. We specialize in organized mid-sized commercial new construction and renovation projects including schools, churches, fire stations, municipal facilities, and professional office buildings.
We are currently hiring motivated individuals who want to start a long-term career in commercial electrical construction.
No prior electrical experience required — but construction experience is a plus.
What We Offer • $18–$22 per hour starting (based on experience)

What You’ll Learn • Commercial electrical installation
• Conduit bending and layout
• Blueprint reading
• Job site safety and professionalism
• Team communication and production standards
What We’re Looking For • Strong work ethic and reliability
• Willingness to learn skilled trade
• Ability to work physically (lifting, climbing, bending)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Basic hand tools preferred
• Construction experience preferred but not required
