Civil Cad Technician

Job Title: Civil CAD TechnicianJob Description

The Civil CAD Technician will support a growing portfolio of commercial site development and excavation projects. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to develop accurate civil drawings and models that support site preparation, grading, and utility installation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to contribute to high-quality civil construction projects from planning through execution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to create detailed civil drawings and models.

• Develop plans for site preparation, grading, and utility installation.

• Ensure accuracy and quality in all project-related documentation and designs.

• Contribute to the successful execution of civil construction projects from planning stages to completion.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D with at least 1 year of experience.

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.

• Experience in civil design and drafting for commercial construction and excavation projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Procore and other project management tools.

• Experience in designing projects for commercial and K-12 school sites.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paw Paw, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
