The Role

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team and help provide top-notch automotive repair and maintenance services to our customers. As a Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied and with their vehicle in optimal condition. What You'll Do

  • Vehicle Diagnostics and Repair: Perform thorough vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical issues and repair them efficiently and effectively.
  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, and more.
  • Technical Expertise: Use your technical knowledge to repair and replace parts such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems while following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines..
  • Customer Communication: Provide clear explanations of vehicle issues and repairs to service advisors and customers, ensuring they understand the work being done.
  • Quality Control: Test vehicles after repairs to ensure everything is functioning correctly and meets or exceeds safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with service advisors, porters, and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery.

  • Continual Learning: Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through training and ongoing development.

Qualifications

  • Experience
    • Previous experience as an automotive service technician or mechanic is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures.
    • ASE certification or equivalent is a plus, but not required.
    • Experience using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
    • Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to customers and team members.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • A strong commitment to safety and quality of work
