The Role
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team and help provide top-notch automotive repair and maintenance services to our customers. As a Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied and with their vehicle in optimal condition. What You'll Do
- Vehicle Diagnostics and Repair: Perform thorough vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical issues and repair them efficiently and effectively.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, and more.
- Technical Expertise: Use your technical knowledge to repair and replace parts such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems while following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines..
- Customer Communication: Provide clear explanations of vehicle issues and repairs to service advisors and customers, ensuring they understand the work being done.
- Quality Control: Test vehicles after repairs to ensure everything is functioning correctly and meets or exceeds safety standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with service advisors, porters, and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
Continual Learning: Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through training and ongoing development.
Qualifications
- Experience
- Previous experience as an automotive service technician or mechanic is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures.
- ASE certification or equivalent is a plus, but not required.
- Experience using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality of work
