Manufacturing Assemblers at DADCO are responsible for helping assemble and prepare gas spring products and accessories for shipment. Duties include organizing components for product assembly, placing component parts or sub-assemblies into fixtures or specialized manufacturing machines to aid the assembly process, packaging finished products and organizing them for shipment and completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble and prepare goods for shipment
- Maintain efficiency of the production bench to ensure timely assembly and shipment
- Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products
- Maintain proper storage of material and product inventory in the department
- Organize inventory in an easy-to-access process
- Utilize machinery
- Maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment including machinery, fixtures and tools
- Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations
- Other duties as assigned
WORK SCHEDULE
One Shift with Overtime
Monday – Friday 7:00am-4:30pm
Every other Saturday 7:00am-Noon
Paid Holidays Off for full-time employees
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years old with a High School Diploma
- Efficiency
- Physical ability to complete job duties, which may include standing for long periods, lifting objects with an established maximum weight
- Ability to follow directions accurately
- Attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills
- Time management skill
- Good technical and mechanical skills
- Submit to a drug test and physical
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of the job.
