Key Responsibilities

• Analyze production costs, variances, and COGS to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets and financial forecasts for manufacturing operations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, performance dashboards, and key manufacturing metrics for management.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budget/forecast, providing actionable insights to operations.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period analysis for new equipment and projects.
• Support inventory valuation, obsolescence analysis, and standard cost setting processes.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify and implement cost reduction initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Expertise in cost accounting principles and practices relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for data extraction and analysis in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and their financial implications.
• Proven ability to perform variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting specifically for production costs and inventory.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Demonstrated understanding of cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing operations.
