Salary Range: $39,000 - $62,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections and tests according to specifications.
• Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and generate non-conformance reports.
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials or products, assisting with disposition processes.
• Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional measurements using various inspection tools and equipment.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE).
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and company quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and GD&T.
• Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality management principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification
• Proficiency with CMM programming or advanced metrology software (e.g., Minitab)
• Strong understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience performing internal audits or working within specific industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100)
