Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis of actual results against budget and forecast, focusing on production costs and operational expenses.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS) to identify efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, performance dashboards, and key metric analyses for management review.
• Evaluate capital expenditure projects, including ROI, NPV, and payback period, to support investment decisions.
• Partner with operations teams to understand production drivers and their financial impact.
• Support month-end close activities by ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
• In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and COGS analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial reporting and data extraction.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and present actionable insights using tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and their financial implications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Understanding of supply chain finance and inventory optimization.
