Director of Sales - East

Midwest Transit Equipment, Inc. seeks a Full Time Director of Sales for our East Region, encompassing Michigan & Indiana. Who we are looking for: We are looking for a Director of Sales to develop and execute strategic sales plan to achieve company targets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise Regional Sales Managers in assigned area.
• Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
• Track actual performance against expectations and modifies strategies.
• Work with customers to better understand their needs and goals.
• Estimate sales volume and profit
• Monitor performance against forecasts and implement adjustments as needed
• Attend Trade Shows

Education and Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years Sales Management experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• Dealership sales experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (or other email programs)
• Salesforce experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion in a timely manner.
