Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Change and Configuration Coordinator to support and oversee changes to IT facilities, infrastructure, hardware, operating systems, database platforms, firmware, network, and software environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, availability, and reliability of systems in a 24/7 IT Operations environment by coordinating and facilitating changes while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with service delivery standards.
Job Description
- Organize and facilitate effective release planning meetings.
 -  Manage release schedules and coordinate key infrastructure initiatives across multiple applications. 
 -  Plan, manage, and execute release cycles, ensuring timely tracking of deliverables, test sign-offs, and deployment efforts for both non-production and production environments. 
 -  Review release plans and change requests in release pipelines. 
 -  Coordinate release builds and ensure they are deployed to the appropriate environments (Testing, Production, etc.). 
 -  Assist in establishing a consistent and predictable release cadence across IT applications. 
 -  Standardize release processes and work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements. 
 -  Map and manage cross-functional dependencies for various releases. 
 -  Collaborate with release leads and managers to deliver a comprehensive release plan and ensure successful delivery across the application portfolio. 
 -  Perform data analysis using SQL to generate release metrics and scorecards. 
 -  Track release performance and provide actionable insights to improve future release cycles. 
 -  Provide support to the Change Advisory Board (CAB) in evaluating and approving release requests. 
 - Be flexible to work outside of standard business hours as needed to support release deployments.
 
Skills Required
- ITIL V4 Certification or equivalent in IT Service Management.
 - Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Change and Release Management.
 - At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in system integration processes, beyond the educational requirements stated above.
 - Proven experience in understanding and applying ITIL Best Practices in IT Service Management (Change, Release, Incident, Problem Management).
 - Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
 - SQL knowledge is a plus.
 -  Strong organizational and project management skills. 
 -  Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. 
 -  Attention to detail with a focus on meeting deadlines and deliverables. 
 -  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. 
 - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address issues during release cycles.
 
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or six years of applicable experience.
